SpeedPay

SpeedPay allows you to electronically transfer money from another financial institution to Navy Federal to purchase a Share or IRA certificate or make an IRA contribution.. It generally occurs same day or next business day.

1. To request a SpeedPay,
   • call Navy Federal at 1-888-842-NFCU (6328), international numbers.
   • or visit a local branch
2. Provide the representative with:
• your checking or Money Market Savings Account number from the other financial institution.
• the other financial institution’s Routing Transit Number.
• the next available check number in your checkbook from the other financial institution. Record the check number, void the check and deduct the transfer amount from the checking balance at your other financial institution, as though you’ve written a check to Navy Federal.
• the type of certificate you want to purchase or the account to receive the funds.
3. No Navy Federal fee, but other financial institutions may charge.
